Mr. Novak is Artistic Director of the Paul Taylor Dance Foundation, home of the Paul Taylor Dance Company - one of the most prestigious modern dance companies in the world, with yearly residency at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. A critically-acclaimed dancer in the company 2010-2019, Mr. Novak has performed 50 dances of the ever-expanding repertoire, premiered 18 new roles, and performed in 130 cities in 17 countries. His dancing has been called "a marvel of plasticity and penetrating imagination" by the New York Times, and "hauntingly good – at once precise and full of sexy languor" by TimeOutNY. His debut season at the Taylor Company earned a nomination for the prestigious Clive Barnes Dance Award. Mr. Novak received is BA in Dance at Columbia University, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with Departmental Honors. In addition to his professional dance career, Mr. Novak is also an ardent student of oenology.
